When a woman is faced with an unplanned pregnancy, she has three options: to parent the child, to choose adoption or to have an abortion. The final decision is ultimately hers and she may have many people who could be influencing her decision during this difficult time in her life. At Hope Center, we don’t want her to feel pressure, but hope and a new perspective, one that she may not have considered until she came through our door. Our mission at Hope is to offer each and every women accurate information about the joys and struggles of parenting, the way the adoption process works and the realities and risks involved with abortion including the physical and emotional risks. Generally women who are seeking information on abortion are doing so because of feelings of fear and doubt about themselves and their own situation. The advisor is able to encourage the women to think realistically about her situation while offering empathy and support. No matter what the woman chooses, we support her decision through love and compassion.
